    • Master of Music degree (Jazz Studies); the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music.
    • Appointed as Director of Jazz Studies and Saxophone at Abilene Christian University, Texas, USA.
  • 2014:
    • Released first BEATBoX SAX video on YouTube: Catch’em Up.
    • Began a full-time saxophone performing career in Chicago.
  • 2016:
    • Released first solo album BEATBoX SAX.
  • 2018:
    • Released second solo album FiftyFifty.
    • FiftyFifty Tour — 9-months-on the road performing in all 50 United States.
  • 2020:
    • Moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA.
    • Composed and released big band album All Figured Out: Derek Brown and the Holland Concert Jazz Ensemble.
